Microcredential Options

GETTING STARTED

We’re excited to offer a variety of microcredential courses that can help you gain lifelong skills to propel your career and personal goals. Explore our offerings and get started today.

  1. Search and Register. To begin, search courses from our catalog of offerings below. Follow the links to register, pay (if applicable) and access your course.
  2. Learn, Practice, Reflect. Begin your WVU microcredential journey. While course structures and requirements differ, dedicating time to learn, practice and reflect on your skill development helps lead to success.
  3. Claim and Share Your Microcredential. Upon completion of all course requirements, you will receive your microcredential (e.g. digital badge or metadata) via email. For microcredentials that offer a certificate, you must access and download your certificate through Genius. Once you receive your microcredential, you can showcase and share your achievements and new skills. Display them on LinkedIn, resumes, social media and any other relevant locations.
  4. Demonstrate Your Skills. Put your newfound accomplishments to work by applying them in your professional and personal endeavors.
